Alternatives directive ‘strikes right balance’

Speaking at a conference in April 2011 Didier Millerot, deputy head of asset management at the European Commission, said he was 'satisfied' with the alternative investment fund managers directive, but warned the story is far from over. Work was still needed to fine-tune the directive before its implementation in 2013.
