EurActiv writes about the new study made by General Electric Company. Ranked by Forbes as the second largest company in the world after JPMorgan Chase, GE released a study warning that 5% of the world's natural gas production is wasted by burning or 'flaring' unused gas.
The amount of gas wasted is equivalent to 30% of consumption in the European Union and 23% in the United States.
