Hundreds of thousands protest against nuclear energy across Germany

Over 200,000 protesters took to the streets in Cologne, Berlin, Munich and Hamburg on the 26 March 2011 to pressure the German government into abandoning nuclear energy generation. The protests added to the pressure on Chancellor Angela Merkel.
