EurActiv presents the new EU’s Consumer Rights Directive, which has been approved on 24 March 2011. Also, according to the site, the MEPs postponed adopting a final position on the new law to buy themselves more time to reach agreement with member states on the most controversial issues.

The new regulations are expected to grant better protection and stronger rights to European consumers and firms who buy goods online in another EU member state.
