EU aid chief: merger with foreign policy ‘over my dead body’

EUObserver reports that The EU's humanitarian aid Commissioner Kristalina Georgieva delivered in February 2011 an attack on recent suggestions her dossier should fall under the responsibility of the European External Action Servicebloc's external action service in the future, warning that the increased politicisation would do great harm to the policy.
