Press Release: Economic and fiscal policies: Council approves country-specific recommendations

On 17 June 2016, the Council of the European Union approved draft recommendations and opinions on the member states' economic and fiscal policies.

Recommendations coving economic and fiscal as well as employment policies were referred to the European Council for endorsement at its meeting on 28 and 29 June 2016. The Council was expected to formally adopt them in 12 July 2016.
