The aim of the workshop was to explore how forest management and protection in Europe will have to adapt to climate change, and how the role of EU policy can and should evolve to contribute to Member States' forest related initiatives. It built on the Commission Green Paper on the same topic and provided a platform for key stakeholders to present their perspectives on future EU forest policy.
