Press Release: Eurostat figures show progress in broadband and internet connections

Figures published by Eurostat at the end of December 2010 show Ireland moving up the EU league table on internet connections and broadband availability. Eurostat shows that, in 2010, 72% of Irish households have access to the internet – 2% more than the EU average.
