Domestic demand spurs German growth

The Federal Statistical Office in Germany reported on the 12 January 2011 that Germany saw one of its fastest annual growth spurts in 2010 since the country’s reunification in 1990, powered by a rebound in investment, exports and a pick-up in consumer spending.
