EU and Switzerland to link carbon trading systems

EUObserver reported that talks to link greenhouse gas emissions trading systems (ETS) in the EU and Switzerland would start early in 2011 after EU Environment Ministers handed the European Commission a negotiating mandate on the 20 December 2010.
