Breaking up the euro area. How to resign the club

The barriers to leaving the eurozone are high but could still be crawled over by a country determined to leave. However, also see the editorial in the same issue of The Economist called 'Don't do it', which argues that while the euro is proving costly for some countries, a break-up would be even worse.
