European families still feel cash-strapped

Europe’s emergence from recession in 2010 has not helped households feel more confident about their financial well-being, according to a survey on consumer finances.

The second annual European Survey of Consumer Finances from Janus Capital found that a balance of 26% more households said they were in worse financial straits in 2010 than they were a year earlier.
