Germany presses for shake-up of Landesbanken

Preview of talks which started in Germany on the 28 September 2010 hosted by the German government to reorganise the Landesbanken sector and report of an interview with Steffen Kampeter, Deputy Finance Minister of Germany.

The German government believeds it could take until spring 2011 for the troubled publicly-owned Landesbanken to agree the first steps of a reorganisation after the global financial meltdown and the eurozone crisis.
