Simplification of audit procedures and shared management in cohesion policy

This note analyses recent Structural Funds simplification measures with regard to their impact on the management and control systems under shared management. Potential opportunities for efficient simplification are identified, such as enhancing the proportionality of management and control requirements and streamlining control and audit.
