Romania restores powers of anti-graft agency

EurActiv reported that following EU pressure, Romania's lower chamber of parliament passed a law on the 17 August 2010 on the organisation and functioning of the anti-graft agency, National Integrity Agency (ANI), which had recently been stripped of its powers by the country's constitutional court.
