Former Kosovo premier faces war crimes trial

Article reports that Ramush Haradinaj, Kosovo’s former Prime Minister, and two others, were back in custody in July 2010 facing a new trial for war crimes at the United Nations tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.

In 2008 the International War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague had acquitted Ramush Haradinaj, a former commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) of war crimes.

In November 2012 Ramush Haradinaj and two others were once again acquitted of crimes against humanity. The retrial the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague backed up the court's original 2008 verdict.
