Greece’s finance minister rejected speculation on the 10 June 2010 that the country was headed for a sovereign default and would be forced to leave the eurozone.

George Papaconstantinou described as 'ridiculous' media reports in the past few days that a restructuring of Greek debt was imminent in spite of a €110bn bail-out last month by its eurozone partners and the International Monetary Fund.
