UK economy poised for rapid expansion

The United Kingdom is on track to have the fastest economic expansion in the first half of 2010 of any of the world’s large industrialised economies, bar that of Canada, according to a forecast from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development published on the 7 April 2010.
