German Constitutional Law Cases 2007–2009

Abstract:
The contribution presents case law from the German Federal Constitutional Court in the period of 2007–2009 which has been selected for its importance for an international audience. It covers decisions on online searches (section 1), the prohibition of incestuous sexual intercourse between siblings (section 2), the limits of the freedom of the arts (section 3), the use of voting computers (section 4), the use of the German armed forces abroad (section 5) as well as the Lisbon Treaty of the EU (section 6).
