Barroso casts Europe as ‘Innovation Union’

EurActiv reports that the EU's new growth strategy (EU 2020 / Europe 2020), which was due to be adopted by the European Commission on the 3 March 2010, includes a blueprint for transforming Europe into an 'Innovation Union' by 2020.
