Report of a joint Franco-German cabinet meeting in Paris on the 4 February 2010 where the two countries unveiled a list of 80 'concrete ideas' for collaboration, including closer co-ordination of economic planning and financial regulation, joint research programmes and bilingual nursery schools. The two countries brushed aside suggestions that their proposals for closer co-operation lacked ambition.
