Ukraine’s presidential rivals tussle over minister

Supporters of Viktor Yanukovich, the front-runner in Ukraine’s hotly contested 2nd round presidential election, on the 7 Febnruary 2010, voted in parliament on the 28 January 2010 to oust the country’s top law enforcement officer, in an escalating struggle to control state institutions that could influence the outcome of the poll.
