Consultation on the method of distribution for the UK’s share of the €300 million EU Dairy Fund

This consultation, launched by the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) on 20 January 2010, asked farmers for their views on how best to distribute England’s £16m (€18m) share of the EU Dairy Fund. The fund is intended to help farmers who have been most affected by changes in demand and prices over the last year. The consultation was part of a UK wide consultation process within which the Devolved Administrations conducted parallel consultations in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
