European Union aid to Pakistan: Steadily on the rise

While it is clear that EU humanitarian aid to Pakistan is steadily on the rise, this latest ISS Analysis argues that it is not and certainly should not be at the expense of development assistance. Given the alarming increase in extremist violence, it is suggested that both types of aid need to be maintained in the long-term in order to prevent the socio-political collapse of Pakistan.
