Cyprus talks accelerate ahead of crucial poll

EurActiv reports that the Cyprus President and Turkish Cypriot leaders have expressed their strong hope that 2010 will be the year of solution for the Cyprus problem. However, according to observers they have little time left, as elections in the occupied Northern part of the island in April 2010 are expected to bring to power a hard-liner.
