Press Release: Financial coalitions against child pornography on the internet

The Council adopted conclusions on the European financial coalition and national financial coalitions against child pornography on the internet. The main purpose of financial coalitions is to trace and stop payments for the purchase of material containing child pornography. To that end, law enforcement bodies work together with credit card companies, banks, internet service providers and NGOs (public-private partnership).
