Press Release: EESC Pre-Summit Conference on ‘The Post-2010 (Lisbon) Strategy – A way out of the Crisis’

Just before Heads of State and Government meet to discuss the economic future of the European Union, the EESC will hold a high-level Pre-Summit Conference in order to enable civil society representatives to discuss with policy makers the state of the implementation of the Lisbon Strategy during the crisis and identify priorities for the post-2010 agenda. The results of the conference, together with an Integrated Report drafted jointly by the EESC and national Economic and Social Councils (ESC), will be submitted to the March 2010 European Council.
