Revamped Olympic returns to the skies

Greece's privatised carrier was relaunched on the 29 September 2009 as Olympic Air, with a new short-haul fleet and a reduced network of European routes.

Olympic have axed six domestic and 12 international flights, in line with an accord between Athens and the European Commission to reduce the carrier's network by 35% to increase competition.
