Pay developments 2008

This annual report from the European Industrial Relations Observatory (EIRO), provides a broad indication of trends in pay increases over 2007 and 2008 across the current 27 EU Member States and Norway. It looks at the following areas: collectively agreed pay rises across the economy as a whole and in three selected sectors (metalworking, banking and local government); national minimum wage increases and current rates; gender pay differentials; and average increases in earnings.
