Press Release: Judgment in Case T-100/15. Dextro Energy GmbH & Co. KG v Commission

The General Court of the European Court of Justice confirmed on 16 March 2016 that a number a health claims relating to glucose may not be authorised.

The Court considered that the European Commission had not erred in finding that those claims encouraged the consumption of sugar, such encouragement being incompatible with generally accepted principles of nutrition and health.
