GdF and Eon braced for Brussels fine / Brussels fines GDF and Eon €1.1bn

Gaz de France and Eon, two of Europe’s largest utilities, have been fined a total of €1.1bn, July 2009, after European competition authorities found that they took part in an agreement not to intrude on each other’s domestic gas markets.
