Weber hits out at Brussels

Report of a FT interview with Axel Weber, the head of Germany’s Bundesbank. He said that Europe’s competition authorities risk throwing the continent’s economic integration into reverse with their response to the financial crisis by insisting that banks that received state aids withdraw from foreign markets and become more nationally focused.
