Priorities for European engagement: Action plan 2008-2009

This Action Plan outlines the priorities of the Northern Ireland Executive for European policy and funding and is the Executive’s response to the report delivered by the Commission Task Force established by President Barroso in May 2007. The Action Plan sets five key objectives. These are to: promote Northern Ireland's interests within the European Union; access EU funding; raise Northern Ireland's positive profile throughout Europe; raise awareness and encourage participation in European matters; share Northern Ireland's experience with Europe and beyond.
