An recent article in 'Eurosurveillance', journal of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (EMCDDA) suggests that the HIV epidemic among injecting drug users (IDUs) in many eastern countries is still growing. In particular, epidemics may be occuring among IDUs in the following countries: Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Moldova and Tajikistan. |
