Press Release: Brits’ health left at risk over bargain holiday season – Travellers urged to check EHIC expiry date

The UK Department of Health, in January 2009, issued a reminder to Britons travelling abroad to check their European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) expiry date before they travel to avoid them having to pay out unnecessarily for medical costs that could be covered by a valid EHIC.
