In the finishing straight: From Copenhagen to Bordeaux

At the informal meeting of the Ministers in charge of Vocational Education and Training and Ministers in charge of Higher Education, held in Bordeaux on 26 November 2008, Cedefop Director, Aviana Bulgarelli, announced the main results and messages from the policy reporting exercise which Cedefop carried out in 2008. This exercise took stock of how far countries have progressed in modernising their training systems and in implementing European tools such as the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) and the European Credit System for vocational education and training (ECVET).
