The Animal Health and Welfare Panel (AHAW) of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), during 2008, reviewed the available scientific data on a number of fish and shellfish species in order to identify their potential susceptibility to 14 different diseases. Following the review, the Panel, on 13 November 2008, issued an opinion on aquatic species susceptible to diseases listed in Directive 2006/88/EC. |
