Press Release: 70 years after the 1938 Night of Pogrom, we must continue to teach the lessons of the Holocaust

The EU Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) and the International School for Holocaust Studies at Yad Vashem, (the Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority based in Jerusalem), announced on 7 November 2008, that they would be holding a joint First Seminar for Educators in the European Union in Vienna on 10 November 2008. As November 2008 marked 70 years since the Kristallnacht Pogrom, this seminar would provide an opportunity for discussion of best practices in promoting Holocaust education.
