Role of Houses of the Oireachtas in EU Affairs: Discussion

The Sub-Committee, which was set up to consider Ireland’s future in the European Union in light of the Lisbon referendum result, on 15 October 2008, held a debate on the role of the Irish Houses of Parliament (the Oireachtas) in the EU. A presentation was made to the Sub-Committee by Dr Gavin Barrett of University College Dublin.
