Press Release: Declaration by the Presidency on behalf of the European Union on the Six-Party talks

The European Union expresses its satisfaction with the results of the most recent Six-Party talks which took place in Beijing from 10 to 12 July 2008, and hopes that those talks will continue with the aim of achieving the complete, verifiable and irreversible dismantling of
the whole of North Korea's nuclear programme, in accordance with the objectives of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1718.
