Legal implications of the Nord Stream project

This paper was prepared to assist in the preparation of an opinion on the environmental impact of the planned gas pipeline in the Baltic Sea linking Russia and Germany (now known as the Nord Stream project). The research explains the legal status of territorial waters, economic exclusion zones (EEZs) and international waters in the context of the development of the pipeline.
