Website: Country overviews

This feature on the website of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), which provides a structured synopsis of the trends and characteristics of national drug problems, was originally launched in July 2004 and, until 2007, it was known as 'Country situation summaries'. Relaunched in 2008 as 'Country Overviews', it provides a summary of the national drug situation of all 27 EU countries, plus the two Candidate Countries, Croatia and Turkey, Norway and 4 TACIS countries. It also provides key statistics at a glance and a barometer showing the drug use prevalence position of each country.
