Airbus plugs gap after exit of key executive / Airbus’s giant phoenix is set to rise out of the ashes

Airbus has been forced into a reshuffle of its senior management, July 2008, following the resignation of one of its key executives in Germany. Airbus is under heavy pressure in the face of continuing delays in new aircraft programmes, most importantly the A380 and the A400M military transport aircraft.
