On 7 August 2007, the European Commission approved an Operational Programme for the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy for the period 2007-2013. This Operational Programme comes under the Regional Competitiveness and Employment objective and has a total budget of some €347 million. The aid provided by the Community through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) amounts to some €128 million, which represents around 0.4% of the EU's total investment in Italy in the context of the cohesion policy for the period 2007-2013. |
