Memo: ‘Central Baltic Interreg IV A’ Operational Programme 2007-2013 between Estonia, Finland, Latvia and Sweden

On 21 December 2007, the European Commission approved the quadrilateral Cross-border Cooperation Operational Programme 'Interreg IV A Central Baltic' for the period 2007-2013. This Programme involves Community support for certain coastal regions of Estonia, Finland, Latvia and Sweden under the European Territorial Cooperation Objective.

The total budget of the Programme is approximately €136 million and includes Community funding through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of some €102 million. This represents approximately 1.2% of the total EU investment earmarked for the European Territorial Cooperation Objective under the Cohesion Policy 2007-2013.
