LSE and Lehman’s platform to have ‘dark pool’

The London Stock Exchange unveiled on the 26 June 2008 a new, pan-European equities trading platform in a joint venture with Lehman Brothers to fight rivals that are eroding its market share.

In August 2008 Deutsche Börse also announced that it was considering following other leading stock exchanges in setting up a 'dark pool'.
