On 8 November 2007, the European Commission approved an Operational Programme for Slovakia for the period 2007-13, entitled the 'Operational Programme Health'. This Programme involves Community support for all the Slovak regions (except the Bratislava region) within the framework of the Convergence objective. The total public budget of the Programme is around €294 million. Community funding through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) amounts to some €250 million, which represents approximately 2.2% of the total EU money invested in Slovakia under Cohesion Policy 2007-2013. |
