Research at JRC in support of EU climate change policy making

An overview of the JRC research activities in support of EU climate change policy making. The JRC Climate Change Research Strategy aims at determining costs and benefits of mitigation and adaptation polices in monetary and non-monetary terms.

Benefits are assessed not only in terms of reducing climate change risks, but also in terms of enhancing energy security, reducing air pollution, protection against climate variability and other co-benefits.
