Is Russia fuelling anti-NATO campaign in Ukraine?

According to a recent poll, April 2008, in just three months some 10 per cent of Ukrainians have changed their mind about the country’s strategic plans to join NATO. At the recent NATO summit in Bucharest, 2-4 April 2008, the alliance decided not to hand Ukraine a roadmap for entry, citing public opposition as one of the reasons. Some believe that a Russian hand is behind the slump in pro-NATO opinion.
