On 2 October 2007, the European Commission approved an Operational Programme for the Lazio region in Italy for the period 2007-2013. This Operational Programme comes under the Regional Competitiveness and Employment objective and has a total budget of some 744 million euros. The financing provided by the Community by way of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is around 372 million euros, representing some 1.3% of total EU investment in Italy in the context of the cohesion policy 2007-2013. |
